Infographic Design

Turn data, processes and complex ideas into clear, shareable visuals for your website, social media, presentations and reports.

When a Picture Explains Faster Than Paragraphs

Some information is hard to absorb as text: a multi-step process, a comparison of several options, statistics that reveal a trend, a timeline of how something evolved, or the structure of a complex system. Readers skim long paragraphs and forget most of what they read, but a well-designed visual can make the same information clear in seconds and memorable for much longer. That is why infographics remain valuable in blogs, social media, presentations, reports, proposals, training materials and public relations.

A good infographic is not simply decorated text or a collection of icons and numbers. It starts with a clear story, organises information in a logical visual flow, uses charts and diagrams that represent data honestly, and removes anything that does not help the reader understand. It also cites its sources, because statistics without sources are hard to trust and can damage credibility. When done well, infographics can attract shares and links, explain your services or products more clearly, and position your business as knowledgeable in its field.

ViV Softech Solution is a website designing and digital marketing agency in Delhi, and we design infographics for businesses across India as part of our digital graphic design services. Infographics often support long-form articles and guides, how-to guides and digital PR campaigns.

Story Before Design

Every effective infographic answers one central question or makes one main point. Before designing, we work with you to define that point, the audience, where the infographic will be used and what you want readers to do afterwards. Then we select and organise the information that supports it, cutting interesting but irrelevant details that would clutter the visual.

We write concise copy for the infographic: a strong title, short section headings, brief explanations and clear labels. A wireframe maps the visual flow, typically top to bottom for long-form infographics or in compact panels for social media, so readers move through the information naturally. Only after the structure is approved do we move to visual design, which saves time and keeps the result focused.

Accurate Data, Honest Visuals

Infographics are trusted only when their information is accurate and their visuals are honest, so data integrity is central to how we work. Statistics come from credible, identifiable sources such as government publications, recognised research organisations, industry bodies, reputable studies or your own verified business data, and each source is cited clearly on the infographic or in accompanying text. We check that figures are current, quoted in context, and not cherry-picked to mislead. If you provide your own data, such as survey results or anonymised operational figures, we ask about how it was collected so we can describe it accurately, for example noting a survey’s sample size and dates. Chart choice matters: bar charts for comparing quantities, line charts for trends over time, and part-to-whole visuals only when parts genuinely add up to a whole. We avoid common distortions such as truncated axes that exaggerate differences, three-dimensional effects that warp proportions, inconsistent scales, or icon arrays sized misleadingly. Colour is used purposefully to highlight key points and maintain accessibility, with sufficient contrast and attention to colour-blind readers, so meaning is not carried by colour alone. Where data is uncertain or estimates are involved, we label it as such. We never invent statistics, fabricate survey results or attribute figures to sources that did not publish them. This careful approach protects your credibility, especially when infographics are shared widely or used in PR, where journalists and readers may check sources. It also ensures that infographics used to support SEO and link-building efforts earn attention for the right reasons.

Formats for Every Channel

Blog infographics

Long-form visuals embedded in articles.

Social carousels

Infographics split into swipeable slides.

LinkedIn documents

PDF-style carousels for professional audiences.

Presentation slides

Visuals sized for decks and talks.

Print versions

Posters, handouts and report pages.

Animated versions

Motion versions for video platforms.

A single research project can produce several formats, maximising the value of the content. Animated explainers are covered by 2D animated explainer videos.

Making Infographics Work for SEO

Search engines read text more reliably than images, so an infographic should be published alongside accessible text that summarises its key points. Descriptive file names, alt text and captions help both accessibility and image search visibility. For long infographics, a text version or detailed summary on the page ensures the information is available to everyone.

Optimised image files keep pages fast, and an embed code can make it easy for others to share your infographic with attribution. Infographics are particularly useful in topic cluster strategies and comparison content; see topic cluster content and comparison articles.
