Campaign Dashboards

One clear view of how your marketing is performing, combining ad platforms, analytics and lead outcomes, built around the decisions you actually need to make.

Too Many Reports, Too Little Clarity

Business owners and marketing managers running campaigns across Google Ads, Meta, other platforms and organic channels often face a frustrating routine: logging into several dashboards, each with its own metrics, date settings and attribution rules, then trying to piece together a picture of what is working. Agency reports may arrive as long PDFs full of impressions, clicks and engagement rates, with the numbers that matter, such as leads, customers, cost per customer and revenue, buried or missing entirely. Different platforms claim credit for the same conversions, totals do not add up, and it becomes hard to answer simple questions like whether marketing is improving month on month.

A well-designed campaign dashboard brings the important data into one place, presents it consistently, and focuses attention on a small number of meaningful measures. It updates automatically, so nobody has to compile reports manually, and it is honest about what each number represents, including its limitations. The goal is not more data, but faster, better decisions.

ViV Softech Solution is a website designing and digital marketing agency in Delhi. We design and build campaign dashboards for businesses across India, usually in Looker Studio, connecting Google Ads, Meta, Google Analytics 4, Search Console, call tracking and CRM data. This page explains how we choose metrics, connect data sources, design dashboards people actually use, handle attribution differences and keep dashboards accurate. Cost per lead and acquisition metrics are explored in depth on our cost-per-lead and cost-per-acquisition reporting page.

What Our Dashboard Service Covers

Decision Mapping

Starting with the questions the dashboard must answer.

Data Connections

Google Ads, Meta, GA4, Search Console, CRM and spreadsheets.

Metric Definitions

Clear, written definitions for every number shown.

Readable Design

Simple layouts, clear charts and context such as targets and trends.

Automatic Refresh

Data updated automatically, with checks for broken connections.

Your Ownership

Dashboards and data sources owned and controlled by your business.

Starting With Decisions, Not Data

Before connecting any data, we ask who will use the dashboard and what decisions they make with it. A business owner may want to know each month whether marketing is producing enough customers at an acceptable cost, and where to shift budget. A marketing manager may need weekly views by channel and campaign to spot problems early. A sales head may care about lead volume and quality by source to plan team capacity.

These different needs often justify separate pages or views rather than one crowded dashboard. For each view, we choose a handful of headline metrics tied to business goals, supporting metrics that help explain changes, and the comparisons that give context, such as previous period, same period last year, and targets. Metrics that look impressive but do not influence decisions, such as total impressions, are kept in secondary sections or left out.

Connecting Data Sources

Native connectors

Looker Studio connects directly to Google Ads, Google Analytics 4, Search Console, Google Sheets and BigQuery at no extra cost.

Third-party connectors

Meta Ads, LinkedIn, Microsoft Advertising and others usually need a partner connector, often with a subscription fee.

CRM data

Lead and sales outcomes exported or synced into Google Sheets or BigQuery, or connected through CRM connectors where available.

Call tracking

Call data from tracking providers through connectors or scheduled exports.

Blending and joins

Combining sources by date, campaign or source, with consistent naming so data lines up.

Data warehouse

For larger accounts, storing data in BigQuery for faster, more flexible reporting.

We recommend the simplest reliable architecture for your needs and budget. Consistent campaign naming and UTM conventions across platforms make combining data far easier, so we often help standardise naming as part of the project. See CRM and lead-source tracking.

Honest Numbers and Attribution

Every platform measures conversions in its own way. Google Ads and Meta each attribute conversions using their own windows and models, and both may claim credit for the same customer who saw a Facebook ad and later clicked a Google ad. Google Analytics 4 uses its own attribution model, and your CRM records what actually happened. Simply adding up platform-reported conversions usually overstates the total. A trustworthy dashboard is explicit about this. We typically show a single source of truth for total leads and customers, usually the CRM or GA4, alongside platform-reported figures clearly labelled as such, and explain differences in a notes section. Where view-through conversions or modelled conversions are included in platform figures, we label them. We avoid presenting numbers in ways that flatter performance, such as cherry-picking date ranges or metrics, because a dashboard is only useful if people trust it. If tracking gaps exist, the dashboard says so rather than hiding them. See conversion tracking and lead quality analysis.

Designing Dashboards People Use

Summary First

Headline metrics and trends at the top, with details further down.

Right Charts

Line charts for trends, bars for comparisons, tables for detail; no decorative gauges.

Targets and Context

Comparisons with targets and previous periods so changes are meaningful.

Filters for date, channel, campaign and location let users explore without editing the dashboard. Consistent colours represent the same channels across pages. Labels use plain language. Dashboards are tested on desktop and mobile so owners can check performance on the go.

Typical Dashboard Pages

An executive summary shows spend, leads, qualified leads, customers, revenue where available, cost per lead and cost per customer, with trends and targets. A channel view compares paid search, paid social, organic search, direct, referral and email on the same measures. Campaign pages for Google Ads and Meta show performance by campaign, ad group or ad set, with spend, conversions and efficiency.

A lead quality page shows outcomes by source from CRM data. A website page shows sessions, engagement and key events by landing page. For ecommerce, product and category performance pages show revenue and margins where data allows. Not every business needs every page; we build what is useful and expand over time.

Keeping Dashboards Accurate

Dashboards can break quietly: a connector loses authorisation, a campaign naming change stops data blending correctly, a new conversion action is not included, or a CRM export stops running. We document data sources, calculations and refresh schedules, set up checks for missing or unusual data, and review dashboards periodically against source platforms. Ownership matters too: dashboards and data source connections should be owned by your business’s Google account, with agency access granted rather than the other way round, so you keep them if you change agencies. Access is shared carefully, since dashboards may show spend, revenue and lead data that should not be public. Dashboards complement, rather than replace, regular conversations about performance; we use them as the basis for monthly reviews where we explain what changed and what we recommend.

Our Process

We learn who will use the dashboard and what decisions it should support.

We agree metrics, definitions, sources of truth and targets.

We connect platforms, CRM and spreadsheets, standardising naming where needed.

We build clear pages, test accuracy and refine with your feedback.

We monitor data health and update the dashboard as needs change.

What Affects Cost

  • Number of data sources and pages.
  • Third-party connector subscriptions, if needed.
  • CRM data preparation.
  • Data warehouse setup for larger accounts.
  • Ongoing maintenance and reviews.
