Social Media Reports

Readable reports that show what your social accounts delivered: reach, engagement, followers, clicks and leads, with insight on what to post next.

Likes Alone Do Not Tell You If Social Is Working

Each social platform provides its own analytics, in different layouts and with different definitions. A post can be liked widely and bring no enquiry, while a quiet post may send several visitors to your website. Without a combined view, it is hard to know which platform, format or topic deserves more effort.

Social media reports bring the numbers together and explain them. ViV Softech Solution, a website designing and digital marketing agency in Delhi, prepares them within our reporting and insights services.

This is the analytics-side report, built from several accounts and website data, aimed at owners. The reporting that forms part of organic account management is covered in social media performance reporting. Here, the focus is on tying social activity to website visits and enquiries.

Vanity Numbers Get Context

Followers and likes are shown, but only beside measures closer to business outcomes, such as link clicks, saved posts, direct messages and enquiries.

We do not buy followers or engagement, and we do not include inflated numbers. Reports use data from your own platform insights and analytics.

How We Build Social Media Reports

We start with your goals for social. These may be brand awareness, community building, website traffic, enquiries, recruitment or event sign-ups. Goals decide which numbers lead the report. We list the accounts to include: Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube, X, Pinterest and others, plus the paid and organic split. We confirm access to each platform’s insights, usually through your business accounts or Meta Business Suite, and connect website analytics so visits can be traced. To trace traffic from social, we check that links carry UTM parameters, and add a simple naming scheme if they do not. We make sure your GA4 recognises social channels correctly, and that conversions such as forms, calls and WhatsApp taps are recorded; see form submission tracking and WhatsApp click tracking. Each period, usually monthly, we collect data and compare it with the previous period. The report starts with a one-page summary: what happened, what improved, what dropped, and the single most important action. Then we cover each platform briefly, with the same set of metrics so they can be compared: reach, engagement rate, follower change, top posts and link clicks. We analyse content by type, such as images, carousels, reels, stories, live and text posts, and by theme, such as product, educational, behind-the-scenes and offers. We note posting days and times where data supports a pattern. We then look at the journey after the click: which social visits stayed on the site, which pages they viewed and which converted. Paid social results are reported separately from organic ones to avoid mixing the two. We include community insights, such as common questions, complaints and mentions; see social listening and brand monitoring. The report closes with recommendations and a plan for the next period. We deliver in PDF or a shared document, and, if useful, a short call. We cannot provide data that platforms do not share, such as exact profiles of individual users, and numbers may differ slightly between platform tools, but we explain such gaps. Used regularly, the report helps you invest in what works and stop what does not.
