QR-Code-Based WhatsApp Entry Points

Turn posters, packaging, shop counters and brochures into doorways to a WhatsApp conversation, with codes that scan reliably and show where each chat began.

Bridge the Offline and Chat Worlds

Customers walk past your shop, read a brochure or hold your product, and a phone number is too much effort. A QR code is one scan. But codes printed too small, with low contrast or pointing to a dead link, quietly waste print budgets.

ViV Softech Solution, a website designing and digital marketing agency in Delhi, plans these codes within our WhatsApp business setup services.

It focuses on the offline and print route. The link behind the code is explained in click-to-WhatsApp links, while on-screen buttons are WhatsApp contact buttons on websites.

What We Deliver

Code Generation

High-resolution codes in print and web formats.

Layout and Call to Action

Clear frame, wording and safe space.

Location Codes

Separate codes per branch, poster or product.

Size and Distance Rules

Scannable from where people stand.

Scan Testing

Checked on several phones and cameras.

Scan Tracking

Chat sources recorded by code.

Safe and Honest Codes

Each code points only to your own WhatsApp number or page. We never use codes that hide the destination or send people to unrelated sites.

The wording near the code states what happens on scanning, for example “Scan to chat with us on WhatsApp”, so nobody is surprised.

How We Build QR-Code WhatsApp Entry Points

We start by listing the physical and screen places where a customer might scan: shop windows, counters, menus, product packaging, brochures, visiting cards, vehicle branding, exhibition stands, invoices, delivery boxes, event banners and presentation slides. We note the viewing distance, lighting, material and whether people can stop to scan. This decides the code’s size and the surrounding design. Then we decide what each code should do. It may open a general chat, a chat about a specific product, a booking request, a support conversation or a catalogue link. We prepare a pre-filled message for each, and a short reference code so your team knows where the chat started; see click-to-WhatsApp links. We decide whether to use a static code, which has the address fixed inside it, or a dynamic code managed through a short redirect address that you control. Dynamic codes allow later changes and scan counts, but depend on a redirect service staying active, so we choose a reliable one and register it in your name. We avoid codes that would stop working if a third-party subscription lapses. We generate the codes at high resolution in vector and image formats, with error correction suitable for printing and for slight damage. We keep strong contrast between dark modules and a light background, include the required blank margin, avoid inverted colours and keep any logo in the centre small. We design the frame: a short call to action, an arrow or icon, your logo and the WhatsApp name or number in text, so people can type it if scanning fails. We follow your brand rules; see brand guidelines. We set size rules: as a rough guide, the code’s width should be about one tenth of the scanning distance, with a minimum around two centimetres for close-range use. We test printed proofs, not just screens, on different phones, cameras and lighting, and with the code at its real size, curved or glossy surfaces included. Next we prepare print files for your printer, with colour mode and bleed as required; for design work see creative asset preparation. We create a code register listing each code, location, link, message, reference and print date. For measurement, we record scan counts where the code is dynamic and count chats by reference code in the business app; see WhatsApp click tracking. We brief your staff on how to greet someone who arrives by scan and how to label the chat. We cannot guarantee that every phone will scan every code, or that people will scan at all, and some printing surfaces reduce reliability, but a well-planned code makes starting a conversation easy.
