Landing Page Analysis

A diagnosis of why visitors reach your landing page and leave without enquiring, using real behaviour data and a structured review of message, offer and form.

Why a Landing Page Underperforms

You are paying for traffic, from Google Ads, Meta ads, email or search, and sending it to a single page designed to produce one action: a call, a form, a booking or a purchase. When that page converts at 1% instead of 4%, every rupee of ad spend works a quarter as hard. The cause is rarely obvious from the page alone. It may be a mismatch between the ad and the headline, a form that asks too much, a slow mobile load, an offer that does not feel credible, or the wrong audience arriving in the first place.

Landing page analysis finds the cause with evidence instead of opinion. We study where visitors come from, what they do on the page, where they stop and what the page asks of them. At ViV Softech Solution, a website designing and digital marketing agency in Delhi, we deliver this as a diagnosis and a ranked fix list, separate from a full rebuild. If you want us to implement the changes, see conversion-focused landing page optimization and paid campaign landing pages.

This analysis is one part of our wider analytics and conversion optimization work and often follows a website conversion audit.

Does the page deliver what the ad promised?

Behaviour Data

Scroll depth, clicks and drop-off points.

Form Review

Fields, errors and completion rate.

Mobile Experience

Layout, tap targets and speed on phones.

Trust Signals

Proof, clarity and reassurance near the action.

Traffic Quality

Which sources and audiences convert.

Analysis, Not Redesign

This service answers one question: why is this page not converting better? It produces findings and recommendations. It does not by itself change the page. That separation is useful when you want an independent view before spending on changes, or when your own designer or developer will implement the fixes.

We also separate page problems from traffic problems. If the wrong people are clicking, no page edit will fix it, and the right answer is to adjust targeting, keywords or placements. See lead quality and sales outcome analysis.

How We Analyse a Landing Page

We start with the numbers you already have: visits, conversion rate, bounce and engagement by traffic source, device and campaign, from Google Analytics 4 or similar tools. If tracking is incomplete, we note it and, where needed, recommend fixing it first through Google Analytics 4 setup. Next we look at the page the way a visitor does: on a phone and on a desktop, arriving from the actual ad or link. We ask what the page is offering, who it is for, what to do next and why to trust it, and we check whether the answers are clear within the first screen. Where tools are installed, we study heatmaps and session recordings, as described in heatmap and session recording analysis, to see where visitors scroll, hesitate, click on non-links or abandon forms. We review the form: number of fields, wording, error messages, mobile keyboard types, and what happens after submission. We check speed and stability using Core Web Vitals measures, because slow pages lose visitors before the message is read; deeper fixes are covered under Core Web Vitals optimization. We compare the page with the ad copy and keyword intent, looking for mismatches in promise, price expectations or audience. Finally, we review the call to action, supporting proof and objections handling: do visitors learn about price range, process, timelines, guarantees you can honestly offer, and what happens next? We combine findings into a ranked list. Each item states the observation, the likely effect, the evidence, the suggested change and the effort. Some changes are quick copy edits; others need design or development. We suggest A/B tests only where traffic is high enough to give a meaningful result, and say so when it is not. We do not promise a specific uplift, because results depend on traffic, offer and execution, but a ranked, evidence-based list lets you spend effort where it is most likely to matter.

Common Problems We Find

Unclear headline

Visitors cannot tell in seconds what is offered.

Weak match with ads

The page speaks about something the ad did not.

Long or confusing forms

Too many fields for a first enquiry.

Slow mobile pages

Heavy images and scripts delay the first view.

Buried call to action

The next step is hard to find.

Missing reassurance

No clear answer to price, process or risk.

Every landing page is different, so these are examples, not a checklist we assume you have.

Who Benefits Most

Businesses running paid campaigns to a dedicated page, such as services, clinics, education, real estate or local trades, where a few points of conversion rate change the cost per lead noticeably. See Google search ads.

Teams that have redesigned a page before without improvement and want to know what to fix next, rather than guess again. Pair with checkout conversion improvements for shops.
