Lead Quality Analysis

Not every enquiry is worth the same. We trace leads from first click to sales outcome so you can see which sources, pages and forms bring buyers, and which bring noise.

Cheap Leads Are Not Always Good Leads

A campaign that delivers leads at a low cost looks successful in the dashboard. Then the sales team reports that half of them were students, wrong-location enquiries, price-checkers or people who never answer the phone. Meanwhile, a more expensive source quietly produces the customers who actually pay. Without lead quality analysis, budgets drift toward whatever looks cheapest on paper.

Lead quality analysis connects marketing data to what happens after the form is submitted. It classifies leads by outcome and attributes, for example qualified, unreachable, not a fit, quoted or won, and then breaks results down by source, campaign, keyword, landing page, device and form answers. The aim is to identify patterns you can act on: which sources to scale, which to tighten and which questions to add to your forms.

ViV Softech Solution, a digital marketing agency in Delhi, provides this analysis within our reporting and insights work. It focuses on diagnosing lead quality across all channels. For ongoing paid campaign reporting see lead quality and sales outcome analysis, and for Google Ads setup details see conversion tracking and lead quality analysis.

What We Look At

Lead Classification

Clear outcome categories your team can apply.

Source Breakdown

Quality by channel, campaign and keyword.

Response Behaviour

Contact rates, call answers and follow-up speed.

Form Answers

Budget, location and need versus outcome.

Spam and Junk

Bot, duplicate and irrelevant submissions.

Value Comparison

Revenue per lead, not just cost per lead.

Two Sides of Lead Quality

Lead quality depends on marketing, who we attract and what we promise, and on sales, how quickly and well leads are handled. A good lead can be lost to a slow reply. We analyse both sides so you do not blame a channel for a follow-up problem or the reverse.

We work with the data you can honestly provide. If outcomes are not recorded, the first recommendation is a simple tracking habit in your CRM or sheet. See CRM implementation and CRM and lead source tracking.

How We Run the Analysis

First we define what a good lead means for your business. For a service company it may be a qualified enquiry in the right city with a realistic budget; for a clinic, a booked and attended appointment; for a B2B firm, a sales-accepted opportunity. We agree a small set of outcome labels, such as new, contacted, qualified, proposal sent, won, lost and junk, with reasons for loss. We then collect lead records for a meaningful period, usually three to six months, from your CRM, sheet, call logs and form tool, and join them with marketing data: source, medium, campaign, keyword or ad group, landing page and device. Where source data was not captured, we estimate cautiously and flag it, and we recommend improvements through lead source attribution and offline conversion import support. With the joined data, we calculate for each segment the share of leads that were reachable, qualified and won, the average value of won deals, and the cost per qualified lead and per customer. We look for patterns: a campaign with many leads but few qualified ones, a keyword that brings the wrong intent, a landing page whose form attracts price-shoppers, a time of day when calls go unanswered. We examine the free-text and form answers for signals, for instance that leads mentioning a particular budget or timeline convert far better. We also review response times and follow-up, since delays can hide good leads inside poor numbers. The output is a report with the key segments, clear charts and a short list of actions: pause or reshape low-quality sources, add a qualifying question, change the offer wording, set up call tracking, adjust bidding toward qualified outcomes, or fix the follow-up process. We do not guarantee better sales, since closing depends on your team, price and market, but the analysis shows where improvement is most likely and avoids spending more on volume that does not turn into business.

Typical Findings

Volume without value

A source with many leads and few buyers.

Hidden winners

A small channel with a high close rate.

Wrong intent

Keywords attracting job-seekers or free-help searches.

Form gaps

Missing questions that would screen out poor fits.

Slow follow-up

Good leads cooling before first contact.

Spam share

Fake submissions inflating lead counts.

These are common patterns we look for, not findings we assume about your business.

Acting on the Results

Marketing actions may include refining targeting and keywords, improving the landing page through landing page analysis, and tuning ads using call tracking integration.

Sales actions may include faster response rules, follow-up templates and automation. See lead scoring and qualification and automated lead follow-up.
