WordPress projects vary widely, so we quote in writing after understanding your requirements. The main factors are:
- Number of pages and templates.
- Custom design versus adapted layouts.
- Custom post types, fields and functions.
- Integrations with other software.
- Content migration and data entry.
- Premium theme or plugin licences that are needed.
A WordPress website can be small and simple or large and complex, so price follows scope. A business site built on a well-made theme, with a set of standard pages, a contact form and basic search settings is a modest project. A site with custom post types, membership areas, multilingual content, booking or a full online shop needs more planning, more development and more testing.
Our written quote lists the pages and features included, the plugins we expect to use, the number of design revisions, the training provided and the support period after launch. Any change to this scope is discussed and priced before work begins. Hosting, domain names and premium plugins or themes are paid to their providers, and we explain which ones are really needed so that you are not sold extras that add little.
We also think about the cost of owning the site after launch. Updates, backups, security checks and small content changes are ongoing tasks, and a site that is neglected becomes slow, unsafe and expensive to repair. We can set these up as a maintenance plan, or hand over clear notes so your own team can manage them. Either way, you will know in advance what the site needs to stay healthy.
To receive an accurate quote, share the purpose of the site, a list of the pages you expect, examples of sites you like, any special features and your desired launch date. We will respond with a plan and a price, and we are happy to suggest a smaller first phase if you want to start with essentials and grow later.
You keep control of your site. Hosting and domain accounts are in your name, administrator access is shared with you, and we do not lock content behind our own tools. If you later choose to work with someone else, the site, content and documentation are yours to take.
We would rather start with a clear brief than guess. A short call about your customers, your competitors and the actions you want visitors to take usually saves weeks later in the project.
