Marketplace Performance Reporting

See sales, ad spend, returns and ratings from every marketplace in one report, and know which products really earn.

Each Marketplace Reports Differently

Every marketplace has its own dashboard, its own definitions and its own download formats. Sellers on more than one end up with spreadsheets that do not match, and no clear answer to a simple question: after fees, returns and advertising, which products make money?

ViV Softech Solution, a website designing and digital marketing agency in Delhi, builds these reports within our marketplace services.

This page is about reporting on results. Opening accounts is Amazon seller account support and Flipkart seller account support, improving listings is product listing optimization, and marketplace ads are marketplace advertising.

Your Data, Your Accounts

We use read-only access or your own report downloads wherever possible, and follow each marketplace’s rules on data use. Seller accounts stay in your name.

Marketplaces change report formats and data availability without notice. We state what each report can and cannot show, and promise no sales or ranking result.

How We Build Marketplace Performance Reports

We start with the decisions you need to make: which products to push, which to drop, how much to spend on ads, when to restock and which marketplace deserves more effort. These shape the report. We then list your data sources: each marketplace’s order, payment, advertising, return, inventory and review reports, plus your own cost data for product purchase, packaging and shipping. We check what can be downloaded or accessed and how often. Next we agree the definitions. Marketplaces differ in what they call a sale, when they count a return, how they report net revenue and how they attribute ad sales. We write down a common set: gross sales, net sales after returns, fees, ad cost, cost of goods and contribution margin, so that numbers from different channels can be compared fairly. We build a product master that links the same item across marketplaces, using your own product code, since identifiers differ. This is important for catalogue consistency; see marketplace catalogue preparation. We then set up a repeatable data flow. Where the marketplace allows, we use scheduled reports or its official connection; otherwise we prepare a simple routine for you to download files that we clean and load. The data goes into a spreadsheet or dashboard with checks for missing days, duplicates and unmatched products. We report at several levels. At account level we show sales, margin, ad share, return rate and rating by marketplace and month. At product level we rank items by contribution after all costs, flag those with high sales but low margin, high returns or declining ratings, and show stock-out days. For advertising, we compare spend and sales by campaign and product, and note items where ads only buy sales that would have happened anyway; see marketplace advertising. We study returns by reason, because many point to listing problems that can be fixed; see product image and description optimization. We summarise review themes, avoiding personal data. We add a comparison with your own website store, where applicable; see conversion and revenue tracking. Each report ends with a short list of actions, such as fix a product with high returns, pause an ad group, restock a fast seller or re-price a thin-margin item, and links to the relevant services, including product listing optimization. We deliver monthly, with a weekly snapshot if useful, and explain the figures in a short call. We keep a log of changes and results, so you can see which actions worked. We cannot see data a marketplace does not share, such as buyer identities, and figures can be revised after returns arrive, but one reliable view of all channels makes stock, ad and pricing decisions much clearer.
