Campaign Tracking and Reporting

Measure what each partner, affiliate or referral source delivers, with tagged links and clear rules for credit.

Pay and Plan on Proof, Not Guesswork

When several partners send you visitors, who deserves the credit? Without tracking, the loudest partner wins the argument. With it, you know which partnerships produce enquiries and customers, and can pay commissions fairly.

ViV Softech Solution, a website designing and digital marketing agency in Delhi, builds this within our partnership marketing services.

This page is about tracking and reporting across partnership programmes. Creator-specific tracking is influencer campaign tracking, paid ad dashboards are campaign dashboards, and programme design is affiliate marketing program setup.

What We Track

Tagged Links

A unique link or code for each partner.

Referral Codes

Codes that identify offline and chat referrals.

Conversion Events

Forms, calls, bookings and orders counted.

Attribution Rules

Written rules for who gets credit.

Payout Reports

Commission figures partners can check.

Partner Scorecards

Visits, leads, sales and quality per partner.

Fair and Transparent

Partners trust a programme when the rules are clear and reports can be checked. We write attribution rules in plain words and share them before the campaign begins.

No tracking is perfect: cookies expire, people switch devices and offline sales are hard to link. We say where numbers are firm and where they are estimates, and we promise no sales volume.

How We Set Up Partner Tracking and Reporting

We begin by understanding the partnerships. Some are affiliates paid per sale, some are co-marketing partners sharing leads, some are referrers who recommend you to clients and some are resellers. For each we ask what counts as a successful result, how it is rewarded, how long credit lasts and how disputes are settled; see referral campaign planning and co-marketing campaigns. Then we write attribution rules. A typical set says that credit goes to the last partner link clicked within thirty days, that self-referrals and duplicate leads do not count, and that a lead counts only when it matches a real, reachable person. We decide how to handle a partner who sends someone already in your CRM. Next we build the tracking. Every partner receives a unique link with campaign tags added to the web address, and, where the programme allows, a promo or referral code so that offline, phone and chat referrals can be linked; see lead source attribution. We prepare landing pages that carry partner identity and capture it in a hidden form field; see partner landing pages. We make sure the identity is stored in the CRM with the lead so it is not lost between the click and the sale; see CRM and lead source tracking. We set up analytics events for the key actions: form submission, call click, WhatsApp click and purchase; see form submission tracking and WhatsApp click tracking. We test with each partner link on phone and desktop, check that the tags survive redirects and that the right partner appears in the lead record. We design the reports. A partner scorecard shows visits, leads, qualified leads, sales and revenue, and where possible the share of leads that were duplicates or poor fit. A programme summary compares partners by cost per lead and cost per sale, showing which are worth growing. A payout statement lists each credited conversion with date and value so partners can check it themselves. We set a reporting rhythm, often monthly, with a cut-off date for disputes. We protect privacy by showing partners only their own data. We watch for suspicious patterns such as bursts of leads from one source with the same details, and we have a process to review and remove them. We train your team to enter referral codes properly and to ask where a caller heard of you. We cannot track every offline influence or stop a determined bad actor, and partner platforms may have their own rules, but clear rules and clean tracking keep partnerships fair and show where to invest.
