CRM Dashboard Setup

Build the views inside your CRM that show each person what to do today and show managers how the pipeline is performing.

A CRM Full of Data Still Needs a Front Page

Many CRMs hold plenty of information yet open on an empty home screen or a cluttered list. Salespeople scroll to find their tasks, managers export to spreadsheets to see totals, and owners ask for weekly numbers that someone has to compile by hand.

CRM dashboard setup puts the right numbers and lists on the first screen for each role. ViV Softech Solution, a website designing and digital marketing agency in Delhi, builds them within our CRM implementation services.

These dashboards live inside the CRM and use its live data. Marketing-style views across several tools are covered by lead generation dashboards and campaign dashboards.

Dashboards We Build

Salesperson View

Today’s tasks, new leads, overdue follow-ups.

Manager View

Team pipeline, activity and stuck deals.

Owner View

Revenue, wins, forecast and sources.

Targets

Progress against monthly goals.

Speed Monitor

Time to first reply and overdue items.

Filters and Saved Views

By service, source, branch or date.

Fewer Widgets, More Use

A dashboard with thirty charts is rarely opened. We limit each view to what the person acts on, and we remove anything that does not lead to a decision.

We work within your CRM’s real features. If a metric needs a paid tier or an add-on, we say so before building.

How We Set Up CRM Dashboards

We start by asking each role what they need to see. A salesperson may want a list of leads waiting for a first call, deals with no activity in a week and tasks due today. A manager may want pipeline value by stage, leads by owner, conversion between stages and deals at risk. An owner may want revenue won this month, forecast for next month and which sources produce the most value. We write these as a short list of questions per role. Then we check the data underneath. A dashboard is only as good as the fields and stages behind it, so we confirm that stages are defined, required fields are filled, deal values are present, owners are assigned and sources are recorded; see lead pipeline configuration and lead source tracking. If gaps exist, we fix the cause, for example by making a field required, before building charts that would show blanks. Next we study what the CRM can display. HubSpot, Zoho, Pipedrive, Salesforce, Freshsales, Bitrix24, Zoho Bigin and others differ in report builders, filters, calculated fields and user permissions. We pick the right widgets for each: number tiles, bar and funnel charts, line charts over time, tables and task lists. We set standard definitions for the main measures, such as pipeline value, weighted forecast, win rate and average sales cycle, and write them next to the charts so everyone reads them the same way. We set date ranges and filters carefully, so month-to-date means the same thing everywhere. We apply permissions: each person sees their own records, managers see their team, owners see all, and sensitive fields such as contact details or margins are limited by role. We build the views, test them against raw lists to confirm that the totals match, and fix filter errors. We set the home view for each role, and where the CRM supports it, scheduled email summaries, for example a Monday report to managers. We add alerts for key situations: a lead unassigned for an hour, a high-value deal stalled, a task overdue by two days. We connect marketing data where it helps; see Google Ads lead integrations and Meta lead form integrations. We train your team in a short session and give a one-page guide on reading each dashboard and updating records so numbers stay correct. After a month, we review which widgets are used and adjust. We cannot create metrics from data that is not recorded, and some advanced reports require higher CRM plans, but a clear, role-based dashboard makes daily selling and management easier. For deeper analysis of results, see lead conversion analysis.
