Customer Lifecycle Automation

Send the right message at the right stage, from first enquiry through repeat purchase to win-back, using automation built around your customer journey.

Customers Are Not All at the Same Stage

A person who just enquired, a customer who bought last week, a loyal client of three years and someone who has gone quiet each need different communication. Treating them alike wastes effort and misses chances to help, to sell again or to bring someone back.

Customer lifecycle automation organises your marketing messages around these stages and triggers them automatically from real behaviour. ViV Softech Solution, a website designing and digital marketing agency in Delhi, builds lifecycle programmes within our marketing automation services.

It is the marketing-communication layer across the whole relationship. The data and pipeline rules inside your CRM are covered separately under CRM automation, and the first weeks after purchase under customer onboarding workflows.

Helpful, Not Pushy

Lifecycle messages should add value: a guide, a reminder, a relevant suggestion. We set frequency limits so one customer never receives several automated messages in the same day.

We also honour opt-outs and consent across channels. Someone who unsubscribes from email is removed from the matching flows, and WhatsApp messages are sent only with permission.

How We Build Lifecycle Automation

We start by mapping your actual customer journey, not a textbook one. How do people find you, how long before they buy, what do they buy next, how often do they return and where do they drop away? We use your CRM, order history, enquiry records and staff knowledge. If tracking is thin, we advise on collecting the minimum data needed. We then define the lifecycle stages in terms your systems can detect. A lead might be a contact with no purchase, a new customer someone with one order in the last thirty days, an active customer someone who bought within a typical repeat interval, and an at-risk customer someone past that interval with no purchase. The right thresholds depend on your sales cycle: weekly for groceries, yearly for insurance or equipment. For each stage we set a goal and key messages. At the lead stage the goal may be education and trust; for new customers, a smooth start and a review; for active customers, a second purchase; for at-risk customers, a reason to return. We write the content and choose channels, using email as the base and adding WhatsApp or SMS where permitted and valued. Where a welcome series is needed we may use ideas from welcome email sequences, and for returning dormant customers customer re-engagement campaigns. We then build the flows in your platform, with triggers based on events such as a form fill, an order, a date field or inactivity. We create entry and exit rules so people move from one flow to the next and never sit in two competing flows. We add suppression rules, for example no promotional message while a support ticket is open or right after a complaint. We test with sample customers moving through each stage and check timing, content and exits. Next we set up reporting showing how many customers are at each stage, how they move, and which flows contribute to repeat orders or renewals. After launch, we review results monthly for a period and tune thresholds and messages. We cannot guarantee a particular revenue lift, since offers, pricing and service quality drive loyalty, but lifecycle automation helps make sure no customer falls through the cracks. If you use e-commerce, you can combine it with abandoned cart email workflows.
