Campaign Performance Reviews

A structured look back at a finished or running campaign: what it achieved against its goal, what it cost, what worked, and what to do next time.

Campaigns End. The Lessons Often Do Not Get Recorded

A festival offer ends, a lead campaign finishes its quarter, a launch wraps up. The team moves on to the next one, and the same mistakes return. Without a review, nobody records which message worked, which channel disappointed, or whether the result justified the spend.

A campaign performance review is a written, evidence-based assessment of one campaign or a set of related campaigns. ViV Softech Solution, a website designing and digital marketing agency in Delhi, carries these out within our reporting and insights services.

It looks backward to learn, unlike ongoing changes made in campaign restructuring and optimization, and it spans channels, unlike Google Ads performance reports, which are recurring and platform-specific.

What a Review Covers

Goal vs Result

What you aimed for and what happened.

Budget and Cost

Spend, cost per result, pacing.

Channel Comparison

Search, social, email, WhatsApp, offline.

Message and Creative

Which offers and ads drew response.

Audience Findings

Who responded, by place and segment.

Lessons and Actions

Keep, stop, change and test next.

Reviews Without Blame

The aim is learning, not fault-finding. We separate what was in your control from what was not, such as competitor activity, stock problems or a sudden change in demand.

We state limits openly. If tracking was incomplete, we say which conclusions are firm and which are only likely.

How We Carry Out a Campaign Review

We start with the original brief. What was the goal, the audience, the budget, the offer, the dates and the success measure? If these were never written down, we reconstruct them with you, because a review without a goal has nothing to measure against. Next, we gather data from every channel used. This includes Google Ads, Meta, email, WhatsApp, SEO landing pages, offline coupons and phone calls. We check tracking quality first, looking at whether forms, calls and chats were recorded correctly; see form submission tracking and lead source attribution. Where leads were followed up by a sales team, we ask for outcomes, since a cheap lead that never buys is not a success; see lead quality analysis. We then build the picture in layers. The first is results against goal: total leads, sales or revenue where known, and cost per result. The second is efficiency: which channels, campaigns, ad groups, audiences and messages delivered results at a fair cost, and which used budget without return. The third is the journey: how visitors behaved after the click, which landing pages worked, where they dropped out; see landing page analysis. The fourth is timing: results by day, week and phase, including how fast performance rose and fell, and any effect from external events such as holidays, weather, news or competitor offers. The fifth is the creative and offer: which headlines, images, formats and incentives were strongest. We then compare with earlier campaigns if records exist, to show whether this one was typical. We distil findings into a short report: a one-page summary, supporting charts, a table of what worked and what did not, and a ranked list of actions. Each action is marked as keep, stop, change or test, with a note on the expected effect and effort. We also record learnings in a reusable template so they can be consulted before the next campaign. If you wish, we hold a review meeting with your team so the findings are discussed together. For campaigns that are still running, the review can be used for mid-course changes. We cannot recover data that was never recorded, and we cannot say with certainty why a result occurred when many things changed at once, but we separate evidence from opinion and make the next campaign better informed.
